Soccer and Shopping

SOCCER IN THE COLD

Well yesterday we had soccer all day. Woke up got ready and got Taryn all dressed up in her new clothes and her high tops (compliments of her Aunt Jacqueline). Needless to say Taryn didn't go to soccer with us it was just too cold. So she spent the day with Grand Lea. We started off the soccer day with a 9:45 game (Jessica was playing). When the game started daddy and I joked around saying here comes anther loss but Jessica's team proved us wrong. The ended up winning 8-1. Great game sis. Although she had to play goalie one quarter she still loves to play the game. She was funny to watch because everytime her team scored she would look over and let me know what the score was. We were so proud of her.

Our next game was at 10:15. I know you are probably wondering how we jungle 2 games that close together. It is called you go to this game and I go to the other game. Jordan had the 10:15 game. However, Jordan is not on the best team this year but they are learning as the season progresses. We are proud of her because she has yet to give up on soccer even though they have not won a game yet. Jordan started off in goalie (not a very smart move from her coach) and the other team scored 4 goals. That's okay though because Jordan shouldn't be playing there anyways. Once the second half arrived Jordan was playing where she should have been playing and scored a goal with 1 second left in the game.

Final game of the day was at 12:45. Jordan played this game too. I know two games in one day who would do such a crazy thing (only a kid that loves the game). This game was a little better and Jordan was all hyped up for this game. We just knew they were going to win but that turned out not to be true. Jordan had two goals this game and played her heart out it just wasn't meant for her team to win. While Jordan was playing I asked Jessica what she wanted for her birthday and she told me "STUFF". Since she told me that I said "okay I'll get you a card, hahaha." She didn't like that response at all. Oh yeah didn't i mention that during this game it started sleeting. Yep sleeting (that's Crazy).

SHOPPING

After all the soccer games I decided me and my mom should go shopping for the girls birthdays. So of course that is what we did. Three generations off to the mall (Mom, Taryn, and Me) don't think that is a good combination. We started off looking at all the cute clothes for little babies but then I reminded momma what we actually came to the mall to do. So off to GameStop we went. Momma ended up getting the girls DS games and shoes. After leaving GameStop we stopped in Justice just to look around because I realized I didn't have my 40% coupon. When we finished there we looked at each other and said it was time to come home. I text my hubby and asked if he would cook supper for us and my mom. When we got home he was almost done with supper. I know I have a wonderful husband. We had a wonderful day even though we were out in the cold most of the day.

New Blogger

Well after watching my brother and his wife blog I thought I would get our family in on the fun. I'm new at this and I am sure I will have to get use to this blogging thing. If you have any suggestions just let me know. Hope everyone enjoys keeping up with us since we don't get to see everyone that much. This will be a good way to keep everyone in the loop.
